Think Out-Side The Box

One of the most effective campaigns I ever ran included sending a book to our contact list, by Harry S. Dent titled,  Roaring 2000's:  Building Wealth & Lifestyles You Desire in The Greatest Boom In History.  Now, of course, this was in 1999 when there WAS a great boom, but nevertheless, it allowed us to accomplish a couple of things for our development in Park City, Utah, that we could never have done in any other way.  There was a paragraph in one of the chapters, identifying Park City, as one of the places in the country where resort real estate was going to climb in value.  At that time, more and more clients were interested in resort real estate as well as vacation ownership, so the book was timely.  We sent the book with a tag on the Park City reference, and a note from the salesperson, to our "A" and "B" prospects.

The program accomplished two things:

  • It gave the prospect a "third person" account of the potential of the area where our resort was located (what other people say; not what we say).
  • It allowed our salespeople the all-important "reason-to-call."  Every salesperson was eager to make the follow-up call to the prospect, because it provided a legitimate reason to touch base with the client to speak to them about Park City, our resort, and, of course, to continue to build the relationship and invite them back to the project.

There are three ways in which you can use this book to more effectively market your resort:
  •  Reach new qualified buyers
  •  Keep in contact with existing prospects
  •  Reassure the client that they are making a good choice, in effect, receiving information about your development from a third party source.

Special Edition Book:  Custom Case Study

One of the most effective tools a marketer has, and the most difficult to attain, is when a third party, or non-invested expert provides the information to the market.  As a resort developer, marketing or sales manager, you have the opportunity to have a Case Study of your development in a Special Edition of Vacation Nation.  I will apply the Discovery Model to your shared ownership/use development or club, and include it in the pertinent chapter.  You can include photographs, copy and any other information you would like to include, up to 10 pages.

Price:  One time fee of $1995.00 to customize your case study, and a minimum purchase of 100 books.  You can include black and white or color photographs in your case study, however color photographs will add to the price of each book.  Additional books may be ordered at any time and in any quantity.
